A Guide Through Runes, Rooms, and Rules


Arcane Rooms is a magical puzzle adventure where every room hides a secret of its own.


Guide a young witch through mysterious chambers filled with runes, traps, water, lava, mirror worlds, and ancient mechanisms. What begins as a simple journey through arcane rooms slowly becomes a trial of observation, timing, and careful use of magic.

Push rune blocks, activate switches, collect crystals, manipulate elements, and discover how water, fire, ice, time, and reflections interact with one another. Not every treasure is optional, not every spell should be cast without thought — and sometimes the best solution is to simply stand still.


With every level, the rules of the world grow deeper. New mechanics connect, familiar ideas twist, and small puzzles become part of a greater mystery surrounding Yggdrasil, the nine worlds, and the origin of magic.



Think carefully. Choose your path. And trust the witch — most of the time.



Manual

The first step


At the beginning of your journey, ᚾᛖᚢ is available.

Once a save file exists, ᚨᛚᛏ appears, allowing you to continue your progress.

Another mode becomes visible only after completing the final level.

Status Bar


  • Heart = number of lives
  • HP / MP = current and maximum value
  • Crystal = total crystals found and remaining crystals in the current level
  • Score = total score and switches still required to unlock the treasure
  • Settings = save, quit and information about magic usage



  • In Time Mode, the play time appears to the right of the settings icon

Magic Usage


  • In the center, the number of mirror books already found is displayed.
  • The white magic icons on the left strengthen and support the witch.
  • The black magic icons on the right affect elements and the structure of the labyrinth.
  • ? = This ability is still hidden.
  • Only one of the two small icons will become available near the end.
